Monitor ISDN calls with SNMP

Unanswered Question
Feb 23rd, 2007

I'm running three 2621 routers as ISDN access points and want to monitor the active calls with ipcheck monitoring tool. It appears that the MIB for this is CISCO-POP-MGMT-MIB, but this doesn't seem to work with the 2621. Anyone know of a way around this?

I have this problem too.

If you required MIB 2621 router, from

Before download You required , router IOS name.

That you can get from " sh ver " command.

Generally that kinf of problem due to not select proper MIB.

You can look out following link. It will give you better idea.

I'm also trying to do this. I have a 2821 router running 12.4(3g) with a channelised E1 interface, and I want to monitor how many DS0s are in use for capacity planning purposes.

I do this with some older 3640 routers by graphing the mib object cpmActiveDS0s (. and that works just fine, but the 2821 returns an absurdly high number as follows;

snmpwalk -c community -v 2c 2821_rtr .

SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises. = Gauge32: 3615

There are only 12 channels on the system so the number 3615 is junk! Is CISCO-POP-MGMT-MIB not supported on the newer routers (2800 etc.)? If so how can we get the data that we need to manage the device effectively?
