dynamic / static MAC address

what is the difference between a 'dynamic' and 'static' MAC address when using "show mac-address-table".

Basically, Dynamic addresses are MAC addresses learnt by the switch during its operation.

Static addresses are MAC addresses entered by the operator and associated with certain interfaces for security reasons.

thanks. What I am looking for is an explanation of why these multicast addresses show up from a "show mac-address" but no dynamic address appears.
