Hi Guru's

I would be greatful if anyone could provide with a URL that illustrate how to add the Logo to Cisco IP 7940 and 7912. With CCM 4.2

I would be greatful if the guide contains with image and steps it would be more convient for me.

7940 does not support change of background image. For 7912, you can refer the following link http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/voice/c_ipphon/english/ipp7905g/admin/ccm42/lowplog.htm

You will need to download SDK from http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/dev_support/access_level/product_support to be able to change the image format.

Sorry, it would be though to create a doc with images for this one.

Actually, the SDK is not even needed for the 7912. All the files needed (bmp2logo.exe, etc) are included in:

CCO Download --> Voice software --> Cisco IP Phone Client Tools --> bmp2logo.zip

For the 7940, you will use the method of idle URL and CIP images. To get an idea of what we're talking about, see:

Hi,

Files that are available only to CCO users with downloading privilege cannot be shared.

To get the above, you need a smartnet contract. It can be minimal as a category 1 for an IP phone. Ask your Cisco reseller.

Infact i hve a CCO account, and after logging suprise to see nothing is aviable, " Currently not avaiaable"

BTW : Other Guru's do any one can help me out please>?

Hi,

From support/download software, click "Voice Software". Few links should appear. Then click "Log In" in the top left corner, enter CCO username and password. The full list of downloadable software should appear.
