HI,
I use VPN between ASA 5520 and 3640 when i try to transfert file from the ASA to 3640 side the transfer is very low. When i tranfer file from 3640 to ASA side it's seem to be good.
On the ASA the configuration was made with ASDM.
Do you have an idea ?

Hi,
- the link between the asa and the router are simmetric (the mtu are the same) ?
- are there any qos rule on the asa (and on the 3640) ?
- do you use the same ftp file / programs / method (active or passive) / ... in both directions ?

You are right the cause was a default class map with a limited bandwith on the remote router.
