Hai experts,

iam having 1841 router and iam having 2 isps one is reliance and one is bharathi(airtel)now iwant redundancy i.e if reliance is down airtel have to up and if airtel is down reliance have to up for this 1841 is sufficent and how can configure that.plz help me sir,

How do you connect with them? BGP? Do you have your own AS and IP Address block from RIR?

iam connecting through ethernet and iam using public ips not on load balancing so plz give me some examples.

Hi Srinivas

You can define 2 static routes (one without any admin distance towards your primary link and one with some admin distance pointed towards your secondary link)..

Make sure you are having the required nat outside and inside statement under all the interfaces.

The above said things are applicable if you don't have any ip address on your own and don't have any bgp with ur SP..
