Upgraded from Unity 4.0(3) to 4.2(1) and the Directory Monitor is continually trying to synchronize against all Domain controllers, even a domain that is no longer in the Forest. The GC/DC tool does see all DC's in all parent and child domains. Went in and manually set the DC/GC and unselected the others. For some reason The Directory Monitor is still trying to sync with the unselected DC's. DOHprop shows all the DC's in the Directory Monitor. Additionally, the ADDomain SQL table has all the Domain controllers listed in the DC/GC tool. I am wondering if I can edit the ADDomain table and it will correct the issue and remove the entries out of the DOH and GC/DC list? Sychronization is generally successful but but it would be more efficient if the Directory monitor stops trying to Sync with all DC's.
