Creating hosts on CallManager 5.0(4)

Is it possible to add hosts within CallManager 5.0?

I have created gateways specifically using hostnames, and later discovered I cannot find or add them a hosts file.

Creating host name is possible in CCM 5.x

To add a server, choose System > Server and click Add New.

To update a server, find the server by using the procedure in the "Finding a Server" section.

The Server Configuration window displays.

Step 2 Enter the appropriate settings as described in Table 2-1.

Step 3 Click the Save icon that displays in the tool bar in the upper, left corner of the window (or click the Save button that displays at the bottom of the window) to save the data and to add the server to the database.

I was under the assumption that adding a server is specifically for adding subsequent subscribers prior to installation?

From what you have mentioned, are you suggesting that you can add any hostname by simply adding a server?
