I need to get my Cisco 831 router to allow remote desktop connections. Currently router connect to Zywel 900 business broadband charter cable modem. Server is Windows 2003 small business and is running DNS, DHCP and WINS. Attached is a copy of current running config. I need this ASAPas it is for a doctor's office and the software vender needs access in. I have inheited this config from someelse and they lost the conf for the router and I had to rebuild it from strach.

Hi

what kinda remote clients you are going to deploy ?

is it going to be normal ipsec connectivity using vpn clients or PPTP between the router and the clients?

you can check out different categories of remote access connectivity being discussed under the below link which may be useful to get started..

try NAT:

ip nat inside source static tcp 192.168.4.x 3389 68.115.245.53 3389 extendable

where 192.168.4.x = user's IP
