standby sup 720

I have got the 6506 with the two sup720 in slot 5 and 6.Whenever i remove the active sup720 from the slot 5, the switch gets booted up then the standby comes on line which takes lot of time, do i need to do any spesicif configuration to make the standby switchover as soon the active sup goes down. please help me in these, if any configuration is required, please let me know the commant.

If you have dual sups, as long as you meet the criteria for redundancy which is covered in the above papers you shouldn't have to do anything special to get basic failover between your sups.
