I am running ACS 3.3 and Windows XP (wireless) are currently authenticating using 802.1x/LEAP.
How about if I want to expand this and make ALL my users, including people logging on from desktop/client machines on cat5 cable also use 802.1x. What else do I need to do? Do I need to rollout specialized Cisco client software to make 802.1x work for everyone?

Interesting. I go to my Windows XP network properties and I see that
"Enable IEEE 802.1x authentication for this network" is checked and enabled. I go to "View Certificate" and I see:
"AAA certificate services"
That seems to be a standard cert.
We haven't deployed 802.1x for our desktops though. This seems to be a default setting. if this is enabled how come am I not getting prompted to authenticate? Is configured to use such AAA Certificate Services or Smartcard.
