Hi Ali
When you enable VTP pruning this means that vlan traffic will not be sent to a switch where that vlan does have any ports. It is a way of cutting down on the amount of traffic you have to carry over trunks.
A prune eligible vlan is one that VTP is allowed to prune from a trunk if the switch at the other end of the trunk has has no ports for that vlan.

HI Ali!
VTP Pruning enhances Network Bandwidth by reducing unnecessery flooded Traffic;such as brodcast;Multicast;flooded unicast traffic.By Default vtp Pruning is Disabled.
