When we select ?add packages? and start the update we see a CCO connection being made but then

with staging Area Contents we get following message:

---------------------------------------------

JRun Servlet Error

---------------------------------------------

com.cisco.nm.dsu.ui.servlet.RepServlet:

java.lang.ClassFormatError: com/cisco/nm/dsu/pkgs/SwitchAddlets/PkgDescr

(Truncated class file)

What kind of problem is this ??

regards

Dirk

Hi Dirk,

what java version are you using??

open a DOS-Box and post the output of java -version.

Btw. IE7 seems not to be supported!!

Do you have any popup blocker or something like this activated?

Best regards,

Frank

This looks like a problem with either your current SwitchAddlets package, or the one downloaded from Cisco.com. How much disk space is left for the file system into which CiscoWorks is installed?

Mr Clarke,

Where can I see the current SWitchaddlets package in my CW ?

regards

Dirk

The SwitchAddlets package must appear in two places. The packages must be identical. The two locations are NMSROOT/www/classpath/com/cisco/nm/cvw/devpkgs/SwitchAddlets.zip and NMSROOT/www/classpath/com/cisco/nm/dsu/pkgs/SwitchAddlets.zip.

Mr Clark,

what do You mean about the disk space , is that the total space of the server that is left ???

regards

Dirk

Yes, the disk space on the server.
