Error creating JTAPI Provider

Unanswered Question
Mar 1st, 2007

I've installed an IPCC Express 4.0(4) co-resident with a CCM 4.1(3)sr4d (not AD integrated).

When I try to create the JTAPI Provider with these data:

- JTAPI Provider -> IP address of the CCM (the same than IPCC).

- User Previx -> A new user (ex. "jtapi_user"). This user isn't created in the CCM.

- Password -> A password for this new user, that will be created.

I click "Update". Then, I new window is opened to introduce the CCM Windows credentials (I suppose to create the new user). In this window I introduce the administrator username ("Administrator") and password and I click "Log on". But I receive the next error: "Enter a Valid Cisco CallManager hostname or IP Address".

I checked that the IP address and the CCM Admin username and password are correct, so I don't understand why I get this error (I've read a bug related to, "CSCsg80300", but it doesn't apply). Does anyone have any idea why I get this error and how I can solve it?

Thank you very much in advance.

I have this problem too.

Hi,

Try to use the username and password of an Administrator User in IP/IVR.

If you have used MLA in CallManager, ypu will have ti use Administrator users to set up the JTAPI Provider.

Hope this helps,

Juan Luis
