Break at boot rom, issue command "confreg 0x2102". After reset, the baud rate is still 115200. Show ver, it shows: "Configuration register is 0x2102 (will be 0x3922 at next reload)" confused

Try the following:

r#config t

r(config)#config-register 0x2102

r(config)#end

r#copy run start

r#reload

Thanks for reply, Ahmed.

This was tried as well, it didn't work at all.

What is the exact problem you are talking about. Is it configuration register problem or console baud rate problem. Please give a clear explanation of the problem.

Check under the lin Con 0, if the baud rate is 115200. Change it there are 9600. Try reloading the router and check what happens. Please paste the router config.

I was trying to reset the baud rate of console to 9600, so I tried to set conf-reg, but the register always keeps 0x3922. Getting your hint, I checked the speed for console, it was 115200 in running config. After it was changed to 9600, and rebooting, the register is 0x2102 now.

Appreciate your help!
