Hello,

I configured IPMA service on a CCM5.

When I launch this service on an IP Phone, on the screen: http error.

I restart Tomcat, and still the same.

I checked the URL (http://@CCM:8080/ma/servlet/MAService?cmd=doPhoneService&Name=#DEVICENAME#) of the service and try it on a web browser: http status 404.

Thanks for your help

Hi,

I am also facing this problem : Error Http 404 when lauching IPMA from a IP Phone or a web browser.

ma folder seems to be empty.

System version is 5.1.1.3000-5.

Same problem for me, with ccm 5.1(1)

Did you find a solution?

The same for me under CCM5.0(4a) and CCM5.1(1b)

No solution, the directory /ma seems to be empty, so as usual with CCM 5.x, I should open an SR then the TAC could check if that's the problem...

Hi guys,

Did you ever find out a solution to this issue?

TIA,

Carmen

I'm in contact with the TAC to solve this.

Let you know

jp

I solved the problem in desactivating the service and reactivate it. It seems that the problem omes from the french user local patch I put.

Regards,

Fouad

Useful info

The Fast Dials and Personal Address Book are now moved under the

Personal Directory Section. So on the phone go to Directories > Personal

Directory > Login using the UserID and PIN and you should see the Fast

Dials and PAB.

This is a design change on CallManager 5.x. Till CCM Versions 4.2, PAB

and Fast Dials are composed of a set of Web pages, an IP Phone Web

Service, an ActiveX object, and a library.

5.0, the IP Phone Web Service is converted from

Active Server Pages to JavaServer Pages.

In the previous release, PD is a subscribed IP Phone Service. That is,

an administrator must provision the PD IP Phone Service prior to a user

subscribing to it. After the IP Phone Service is provisioned correctly,

a user must subscribe to the service.

+ For Seadragon, PD is not a subscription service. This eliminates the

administrator from having to provision the service. PD is a directory

that appears when the Directories icon is pressed.
