Recertifying CCNP, CCDP, CCSP

Unanswered Question

Let me get this straight, according to Cisco "CC?? certifications are valid for three years. To recertify, pass any 642 exam that is part of the professional level curriculum after 01/01/06, or pass a current CCIE written exam."

Question: This means, if I pass 642-901 it will recertify my CCNP, CCDP, and CCSP or just CCNP and CCDP only?

Ok, don't mention about CCIE Written. I choose 642-901 because I'm planning to complete CCIP.

I have this problem too.

Passing 642-901 will recertify CCNP, CCDP, and CCSP. Each of these exams has the same requirements for recertification which is any professional level 642 exam or a CCIE written.

Hope this helps. If so, please rate the post.

so only single exam of 642 not a full title is required to recertify the Professional and Associate level certification right!!!

so if i clear 642-661 then i will recertify my all associate and professional level certification i do not need to appear for whole CCIP... is it like that?

That is correct. A professional level exam will recertify your professional and associate certifications. So, 642-661 would recertify any of the folowing - CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, CCDP, CCSP, CCIP, CCVP.

Hope this helps.
