2) I am using CSC-SSM-20 do i really need proxy sever for accessing internet.

if yes so what will be the proxy address on the host , whether it will be proxy server address of csc-ssm ip address , or address of proxy server.

1) Inter-vlan routing is good. On your firewall it would be static routing. (Could you rephrase your question i might have understood this wrongly).

2) No you do not need prozy server for accessing internet. If you do install a proxy server it would be just like a host. There is no proxy server configuration on the CSC SSM module. The configuration in the CSC SSM asking for proxy address is just to let it know if its dealing with a proxy server or multiple hosts.
