Hi.
I need to assist acustomer that specified a switch that support 4094 vlan.
Does anybody know? Because the 6500 series support even 4000 vlan

Hi,
all normal normal Cisco switches support 4094 VLANS ... depending on IOS version ...
If you set up an 802.1x TRUNK you can even trunk this 4000 VLANs

Hi
Yes a 6500 will support up to 4094 vlans. You will need to have the following command (IOS) in your config
spanning-tree extend system-id
