Hi,

My users saying that the network is slow.

Below is the WAN interface captured:

MTU 1500 bytes, BW 1544 Kbit, DLY 20000 usec,

reliability 255/255, txload 2/255, rxload 1/255

Encapsulation HDLC, loopback not set

Keepalive set (10 sec)

Last input 00:00:00, output 00:00:00, output hang never

Last clearing of "show interface" counters 10w5d

Input queue: 0/75/0/0 (size/max/drops/flushes); Total output drops: 245

Queueing strategy: weighted fair

Output queue: 0/1000/64/244 (size/max total/threshold/drops)

Conversations 0/36/256 (active/max active/max total)

Reserved Conversations 0/0 (allocated/max allocated)

Available Bandwidth 1158 kilobits/sec

5 minute input rate 3000 bits/sec, 2 packets/sec

5 minute output rate 16000 bits/sec, 2 packets/sec

9682134 packets input, 1710441763 bytes, 0 no buffer

Received 764714 broadcasts, 0 runts, 0 giants, 0 throttles

8456 input errors, 8456 CRC, 2799 frame, 500 overrun, 0 ignored, 3444 abort

10229243 packets output, 3657182173 bytes, 0 underruns

0 output errors, 0 collisions, 372 interface resets

0 output buffer failures, 0 output buffers swapped out

2 carrier transitions

DCD=up DSR=up DTR=up RTS=up CTS=up

How can i resolve this issue?

I have this problem too.

Hi

Its time for you to get the physical link checked by availing loop from your local telco..

Most of the times it will solve or help you to find out whether you have any error in your link..

Hi

Can you try clearing up the counters or this interface and check ?

As per the stats the counters has been cleared before some 10 Weeks 5 Days.

Use clear counters and specify the interface where you are seeing this errors..

Sprem,

Thanks for you reply.

I have tried clear int s0/0.

But the CRC error is still there. How can i reset the CRC error to be 0?

Thanks!

Reset counter on the WAN interface to get the fresh numbers to troubleshoot. "" Last clearing of "show interface" counters 10w5d ""
