Timestamps not displayed with debugs

Hi All,

At the moment I am still studying so please forgive this probably obvious issue!

I have the clock set which I have verified with the show clock command. This displays correctly with the correct time, date etc.

However when I issue debug commands I get the uptime? values, ie 3d06hr.

What is it that I am missing here for the debugs to display the actual set time?

If it matters the router is a 2500 running 12.2(7r)XM1 as the IOS.

can you also try this command under your router config ?

But make sure that you hve proper clock time set on your router to have proper time getting displayed ...

Try putting these two lines in your config

!

service timestamps debug datetime msec localtime show-timezone

service timestamps log datetime msec localtime show-timezone
