I want to understand well how CSM works with more vlans in bridge mode?

Can a host in a vlan contact another server in vlan if I change the IP address?

Thanks for your help.

Andrea.

Hello Iwan and thanks for your help.

I must be clear, I'm looking for a security issue.

I want to use a CSM (bridge mode) with two vlans client (A & B) and two vlans server (C & D), like this:

vlan A client

ip 10.0.0.1 255.255.255.0

vlan B server

ip 10.0.0.1 255.255.255.0

vlan C client

ip 10.0.1.1 255.255.255.0

vlan D server

ip 10.0.1.1 255.255.255.0

If I change only the IP address of a host in vlan A (using a vlan C address), can this host contact a host in vlan C or D?

Regards.

Andrea.
