Solved: 7940 VMail indicators

Hello, I'm trying to get our 7940 series phones to display VMail indicator either by the LED on handset or by the mail indicator on the display? Is there a special area that I need to configure this?

You need to configure an MWI on/off number and assign it the correction calling search space so that it can dial the phones.

In 4.1(3), ccmadmin > feature > voice mail > message waiting

Then configure your voicemail system with the appropriate MWI on and off numbers.

Once configured, you should be able to dial those numbers from your phone.
