This is Unity 4.2 -
The normal prompt "Please wait while I transfer your call" is not being played on the cross-box transfer. It is being played on a normal onbox transfer.
The transfer works ok both ways.
Is there a regedit to work around this?

I also found the same bug on the Caller System Transfer conversation.
When the caller enters an extension, no
"Wait while I transfer your call" prompt is played before the transfer.
