Tracking unused switchports with Ciscoworks

Is there functionality within Ciscoworks LMS 2.6 towards tracking unused switchports?

yes, why yes there is :)

In Device Center you can run a detailed report on a switch and it will tell you all the ports administrative status (enabled or disabled), Operational Status (up or down), and last changed (days, hours, and seconds since its last status change).

In the Campus application you can list this by VTP domain for a gross number of ports up/down.

There is a specific group of reports in Campus Manager User Tracking that are geared towards this very thing. Check out Campus Manager > User Tracking > Reports > Report Generator > Switch Port Usage Reports. These reports are there to aid in capacity planning.
