7960 sip upgrade.

Hello

i have some problems upgrading a 7960 sip phone , non call manager.

it was working fine with 3.7.3 version and was registerred to some sip aerver until i decided to play with it and upgrade to P003-08-6-00.bin.

i tried to follow this doc but i guess i missread something ->

i have d/l the zip file with the following:

P0S3-08-6-00.sb2

P0S3-08-6-00.loads

P003-08-6-00.sbn

P003-08-6-00.bin

OS79XX.TXT --> where i changed to P0S3-08-6-00

also , downloaded :

SIPDefault -> where i put : image_version: P0S3-08-6-00

i see on tftp that it is trying to pull the files but on the phone i see application upgrade failed.

ideas ?

fixed it , phones loads now..

2 more questions.

1 i can not get rid of the football extension even though i removed it from the sipMyMAC.cnf

2 i am able to register and make calls via my sip server but can not get calls.

i enabled the nat thing but nada.

Hi,

the thing that not all sip releases appears to work in non-CM. Eg if you user asterisk user report that 8.0(2)SR1 was goof but others are not.

So if you can't find a release that works, traces are needed to see why it is not receiving calls.
