Hi folks,

In a AP 1231G-A-K9 I had a problem, making an upgrade the copy did not finish, then, right now I have the next message,

Error loading "flash:/c1200-k9w7-mx.123-8.JEA"

Witch is my best option ?? is there some tools for that, or xmodem is my only one solution ??

Thanks in advance

Martin

Hi Martin,

Have you tried to reload the IOS using the Reset button and TFTP upload method?

1) Connect a crossover cable between your AP and PC/Laptop.

2) Set the PC/Laptop IP address to 10.0.0.2 255.255.255.0

3) Copy the IOS file in to the root directory of your TFTP server and rename it to c1200-k9w7-tar.default.

4) Start up the TFTP server on your PC/Laptop.

5) If not already off, then power off AP.

6) Power on AP whilst holding down the Reset button until the Red light comes on (about 20 seconds), then release the button.

7) The AP should then start loading the IOS image from the TFTP server.

If there is not enough room on the flash to hold both IOS images (new & corrupted one) then it should delete the old image first. This is done automatically.

Hope this helps,

Dom

Thanks Dom,

it was my solution.

thank you again

Martin
