Setting up CiscoWorks 2000

I am new to CiscoWorks. The product running is CiscoWorks 2000 but has never really been setup. Is there a good how to source (step by step) that I can access or download. I would like to monitor our internal routers and switches and get paged when any one piece of equipment / interface goes down.

CiscoWorks 2000 is a legacy suite of products, so hopefully you're not setting that up. Hopefully you are referring to CiscoWorks LAN Management Solution. In that case, you should have a look at these white papers:
