Pings to real IP behind CSS

I have 2 servers directly connected to the CSS in a routed CSS implementation. From the CSS I can ping the servers but I can not ping these servers from the switch to which the external CSS interface is plugged into. Getting to the VIP from outside and also pinging the VIP from anywhere on the network is fine.

Am I missing anything?

Thanks

already responded to you in another post.

The css will work like any other switch.

So the same troubleshooting rules apply.

Check routing table, arp table, cam table,...

Capture a sniffer trace on the destination to see if the ping request is coming in.

See if a response is being sent and where - what destination mac ?

Follow the path of the traffic both ways.

Gilles.
