WLSE integration with other NMS

Hi all;

I'm new with WLSE. As my understanding, WLSE cannot integrate with other NMS but only can send SNMP trap in fault notification to other NMS. Can Concord or NSM from Ca receive that trap. And what are things need to be configured in concord or NSM to process this trap. Any other suggestion to integrate with others NMS? Thanks in advance.

WLSE uses SNMP trap and SYSLOG to notify other NMS systems of failures/faults, IDS events in the network.

Try this to WLSE integration with HP openview:

Use WLSE to create fault policies or thresholds you want to monitor

Use WLSE to enable monitoring for IDS events of interest Specify HP NNM or other server as the SNMP trap or SYSLOG receiver from the fault notifications screen on WLSE.
