IPCC Enterprise 7.0(2).

CAD 7.0(2)Enhanced.


We have recently had 6 clients (out of over 40) that we have been unable to monitor from the supervisor workstations. The log on the workstations have the error;


CFCDMSnifferSession::_snifferThread Unable to open the NIC adapter for sniffing. Please reconfigure the installation.


On checking the Error, the required Action is to

"Run the post installation configuration tool to set

the correct device in the registry".


Anyone knows where the Post installation configuration tool is located.

Check the binding order of the NICs on the IPCC Express/VoIP Monitor server : Right-click on My Network Places -> Properties -> Advanced -> Advanced Settings. The primary NIC should be listed first, and the secondary VoIP Mon NIC should be listed second. If it is not this way, make that change and reboot the server.
