I am presently on Call Manager 4.1 with all my Gateways running MGCP. I would like to switch to H.323 for the caller ID and T.37 protocols. However, as the Cisco Documentation states, FAC is not supported on an H.323 gateway because the gateway does not support the generation of tones. So...if I tell my users to type in the code 1 to 2 seconds after they dial the number (not hearing any tone of course), will it work?
Thanks for any assistance,
Andrew

Andrew,
Only H323 analog gateways dont support this feature. Are you using FXO or PRI ?

Both, but I am specifically speaking about the FXO ports.
