When I modify or remove vbr-nrt command for a configured PVC the traffic stops passing through. It started happening with 7600 router earlier with 7200 it never use to happen
Is their a workaround other than restart or recreation of pvc.

vbr-nrt peak_cell_rate sustainable_cell_rate
It happens in 7200 and 7500 also but only for a few seconds and is always not noticeable from the user end. I never remove them to change the value, I just re-type the new value as it will override the existing value. Removing them will have longer downtime.
If however you are changing PVC VPI/VCI value, then there will be downtime.

I just tried it in 7600 and its a few seconds only. Now, I have tried and find that doing it in 7200, 7500, and 7600 is only a few seconds. Well, maybe there is a difference depends in country or telco :)
