FCIP - Support on Catalyst 3550/3560 Switches?

Can the Catalyst 3550 and 3560 switches support FCIP (fiber channel over IP) traffic?

Hi,

As far as I know, and I know pretty less in this regards, we need MDS for FCIP. I dont think any pizzabox would support it. Netpro might ave a seperate forum for "Storage Networking", that should help you better.

Tom,

3550/3560 switches donot support FCIP.You need MDS9000 boxes for FCIP support.
