I want to implement a session border controller, will it work if I use a Cisco 12008 Router? Below are the ff specs. or do I need a separate card for this purpose? And what is the latest version of IOS and feature sets do I need to serve my objectives. Thank you in advance, and your immediate response would much likely appreciated.

No, the 12000 does not support SBC nor voice features.

Why don't you use the IP-IP gateway?
How many simultaneous calls do you plan to handle?

Best thing to do is speak to your Cisco account team to confirm your hardware and software is capable of supporting this new feature.
