CCIE, CCDP and CCIP exams.

Answered Question

Hi,

I was certified in CCNA, CCNP, CCDA but they are all expired. Am I able to recertify or I need to take everything again?

If I need to take everything again, I am thinking doing CCIE R&S, CCIP, CCDP, can CCIE R&S written substitute any 642 exam? What's the least amount of exams that will get me CCIE, CCDP and CCIP?

Thanks

I have this problem too.

You cannot recertify after a certification has expired. You will need to retake all related exams. A CCIE written will not substitute for a 642 exam except in recertification. It will recertify professional and associate level certifications. The following is a list of the minimum number of exams to achieve CCIE, CCDP, and CCIP.

640-801 - CCNA

642-892 - Composite

642-873 - ARCH

642-642 - QoS

642-691 - BGP+MPLS

350-001 - CCIE R&S Written

CCIE R&S Lab Exam

so many tests. I will go bankrupt. Thanks guys. I also ask Cisco and they stated that 350-001 "MAY" substitute CCNA. We will see what happen.
