AToM on a 3600 - ?

Unanswered Question

Hi:

Do any of the 3600's support AToM for MPLS?

I am able to use L2TPv3 on a 3640 running c3640-jk9o3s-mz.124-7a.bin.

Here is what I get:

R6(config-if)#xconnect 1.2.3.4 1 encapsulation mpls

^

% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.

R6(config-if)#xconnect 1.2.3.4 1 encapsulation ?

l2tpv3 Use L2TPv3 encapsulation

Thanks for your help.

Best Regards.

I have this problem too.

Hi,

the clear answer is: NO.

You need f.e. a 7200 series, or the c7200 router simulator to configure this.

Thank you for your reply.

Interestingly, I can run L2TPv3 with no problems, either using a Lan or a Wan interface. (maybe becoz' it is a Cisco-proprietary solution) ;->

Best Regards.
