here's my challenge: i have a few hundred clients who need to connect to a server via its ip address (cannot use hostname/DNS). problem is, there is a design for a new datacenter that calls for the server's ip tp be changed to something different.
the topology: the clients all connect to 2950s (each 2950 is its own vlan) and then each 2950 uplinks to a single 3750. the 3750 has an SVI for each vlan (used as the gateway ip for each client.) the server is located on the other side of the 3750 on its own 2950/vlan as well.
is there someway that i can use NAT or something like port forwarding on the 3750 SVIs to take all traffic destined for the old server ip and send it to the new server ip instead (being transparent to the clients)?
thanks!
Matt
