ONS 15454 Version 8 Experience?

I'd like to know the experiences of anyone who has upgraded to SW version 8.0 on ONS 15454 SONET nodes. I'm trying to decide whether to use the tried-and-true 7.2.2 load or go for 8.0, which doesn't have any maintenance revs out yet. I have to do something to get off version 4.6.1 and 5.0.5 soon.

most that I log into are on 7.2.2. We have one of the largest 15454 networks in the US
