Guys,

Is there a way i can implement port-security across my distribution switches such that it will disable a particular port should a user decide to plug in an authorized access-point?

Thanks!

I just need some help in securing switches from unauthorized wireless access points. Can i implement port security in such a way whereby if a user plugs in a wireless access-point into one of the floor switches, the port will be disabled?

Hi, You can define port security on the switch port in such a way so that only one device(only one mac address is allowed) on that port whichever is learnet first by that port. or u can define port security with static mac address configuration on port but it wud be more panic job.

Thanks
