Attendant Console, user listing problem...

Hi there,

I am having a strange problem with Attendant Console, when a receptionist is trying to forward a call, one of the names starting from M appears between, let's say S (it is not sorted correctly).

Any ideas why?

Thanks

Advance Search using Department doesnot returm entries

On Callmanager please update DEPARTMENT_ATTRIBUTE field in "C:\Program Files\Cisco\CallManagerAttendant\etc\

ACServer.properties file", correctly based on the directory and attribute name you are using.

Attendant Console will pick up the configured value and return Advanced Search result using directory field correctly.

Hi there, thanks for your post.

What would be the recommended value for DEPARTMENT_ATTRIBUTE?

I've put 1000 but I can't see any difference. Do I have to restart something?

Thanks

Try resetting Cisco Telephony Call Dispatcher

Well, this is causing even more problems. In my config file DEPARTMENT_ATTRIBUTE value was set to departmentnumber, that is:

"DEPARTMENT_ATTRIBUTE=departmentnumber"

when I changed it to 1000 and then restarted the CallDispatcher, receptionist is no longer able to view the department list so I've put back the "departmentnumber" whatever it means.

I did also try recreating the user, no joy at all.
