the WS-X4515 supports 2 GE ports.
can they be used at the same time, to get redundant links?

yes, you need to install the GBIC converter on these ports. You have to choose out from WS-5483, WS-5484,WS-5486 GBICs.

Yes, you can use both the GE ports simultaneously if you are using in a single supervisor config on a chassis. If you are using the Sup engine in a redundant sup engine config on 4507R, only the first port of each sup engine is active. the second port of each sup engine is inactive/standby mode.
