Phone headset does not work

Cisco7941G with CCM5.0(4a), we tried to use the Plantronics 26716-01 cable which it says it does not require any amplifier and can be directly connected to the phone as per following:

But the headset dose not work, we could not hear any sound from there when I press the headest button on the phone.

Do I miss somthing?



I have this problem too.

Hi JJ,

That is the correct Part Number for the Plantronics cord. We have used many of them with various models of IP Phones including the 7941G (and they work great).Perhaps have a look at the setting on the phone configuration page;

Disable Speakerphone and Headset

Hope this helps! Plantronics may have sent you the wrong cord :(
