How can I tell just by using a packet capture if the RTP traffic is encrypted or not?

Not sure of this but If you use Ethereal you will see sRTP not RTP Protocol.

hi chris,
you will not hear anything in case RTP packet was encrypted, when u will replay that encrypted packet captured via ethereal.
