Lighting the line button

Anyone know if you can light a line button (i.e. on a 7961/41/70/71) through either AXL or a service URI

Unfortunately that's not possible. I remember asking Cisco about this and was told it would be implemented in a future release, but as far as I know, nothing has been done (and it has been about 2 years since I asked).

I am looking fot a application that will notify the IP Phone agents if they are not ready for more that 2 minutes on the phone.

or light p the button if they are not ready

I would suggest blink the MWI light. I had a similar application and that was the only way I could do it. They wouldn't accept a blinking image on the IP Phone.
