PIX 515 6.3(4) Failover

Hi Glenn,

I have problem with my two PIX 515, ver6.3(4).

Both PIX have same HW.

Both have UR license.

The primary suddenly failover to secondary. Can't get any logg to the syslog server.(logging on, logging standby, logging trap debug)

Somtimes the primary PIX stops to answering then the Internet connection stops working. The secondary PIX still answering.

Hello,

Have you checked if any of your PIXs have reloaded?

Issue the show version command and you will see the the uptime of the firewall.

If they have rebooted, issue the show crash command and see if you get any output.
