Hi all, I have an issue, we just moved into a new office and for its benefits we configured the 7 floors as separate vlans 10.0.10.0; 10.0.11.0 etc. The uplinks from the floors connect to a 2950 switch at the central data centre and a dot1q trunk port connects this switch to a 2811 router interface configured with subinterfaces for the 7 vlans. The issue is that PCs in the vlan of the DNS server (which also serves as the Domain Controller) are able to contact the DNS server/Domain controller and succesfully join the domain. But PCs on other vlans get an error 'Cannot contact the domain controller...' When this server is moved to another vlan, PCs on that vlan are able to join but not those from other vlans. Any ideas why this is so? Thanks for your help.

Use ip helper-address on the L3 vlan interface and check again.
