Background
We provide a voicemail solution facilitated with a combination of PGW2200/ SLT/ AS5350 non-drop and insert configuration. PGW version 9.5.2
Problem
Some foreign networks are not fully compliant with some ISUP protocol variants, specifically Q.767, which in turn does not send the redirecting number (RDNIS) information. In so doing the calling party is logged into their own mailbox by calling another subscriber on the same network but which is roaming on another network.
Solutions
The way this can be differentiated is by checking the ?Forward Call Indicator? flag is set to International. If this is set to ?International? the A party?s number could be either stripped out or add a redirecting number if this is the case. In doing so our application will prompt for a number to be entered this would improve the customer experience and prevent this fault.
Thanks
