Redundancy design

Our network design consists of two PIXes in front of the CSS (client side).

The two pixes are different one another.

The first CSS has the first PIX as the default gw, and the second CSS the other one. We also use the bridge mode setup.

The default gws on the servers are the two pixes.

We also keep two appliances and we are investigating the possible design options through this setup.

Firewall load-balancing is an option.

What are all the other redundancy options so that we donnot lose the connectivity in case of failure of one of the CSS?

ASR is also an asset on the CSS.

Redundancy can be achieved in several ways, depending on the requirements of the design. The simplest method is to configure a gatekeeper controlled trunk and assign up to three subscribers in the Cisco Unified CallManager group associated with the device pool assigned to that trunk.

Thank you very much for your answer, but this post is not related to any kind of redundancy i.e. Unified Communications.

This has nothing to do with features that CCM offers, but we may consider INTERNET traffic flows and if there is any other option apart from the f/w lb option.

I would appreciate if there is an answer to this clarification.
