How can I go about getting a trial version of Cisco Secure ACS software? Do I need a CCO login account? If so, how do I get a CCO login?

Yes you need a CCO account. To get an account go to http://tools.cisco.com/RPF/register/register.do
Once your registered, login to cisco.com and go to the following URL
http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/tablebuild.pl/acs-win-eval
You will see a download link for the 90 day eval.
HTH and please rate.

I think I have already registered. But when I click on Cisco Secure Access Control Server link from the page you mention in your email, I get a pop-up box prompting me to login. It will not accept my login (same login I use to login to the Message board).

Then your account is not active/valid. Create a new one or email cco-locksmith@cisco.com and have them reset your password.

I did get to the download files with links
http://www.cisco.com/kobayashi/sw-center/sw-ciscosecure.shtml
, but authenticate failed when I click the link ( Cisco Secure Access Control Server 90-day Evaluation Software , ie ) .
Can you really download an evaluation of any kind or it is simply not available ?

I just downloaded it. Maybe it's restricted to Partners or contract holders.
