Default credential settings

Every day, new devices are imported from Openview, this issue works fine. However how can I add the default credentials to this device ? For the moment this is not done automatically, so no device config is done at the moment for that device, I have to edit the credentials and enter it manually.

no, currently this cannot be done with LMS 2.6 internal processes. This feature comes with the new LMS 3.0.

Cisco says LMS 3.0 will be released in late spring, - I think it will be (late) summer...

(better later- and then with fewer problems)

For one customer as a workarround for this, I configured a group where new devices would be member using;

Device.user_defined_field_1 equals ""

Then all devices in this group can be given credentials in one go.

And we put something in user_defined_field_1, like the date they were added, to separate them from the next batch
